Tara, what a refreshingly honest piece. Some people just shouldn't be mothers. You have to pass a test to get a driver's license, but not to be a parent. My mother was afflicted with bipolar so the wounds go deep. I was only able to forgive and get perspective after she died two years ago. Thanks for sharing this.
